I would like to see Forcastfox for Firefox stay just as it is. I like
the ability to customize to my taste, monitor sizes, etc. I like
having multiple days viewable at one time, I don't want to have to
deal with popups like the Chrome version.

Please leave it, it's great the way it is:)

Thank you,
Marc

Hi Marc,

We also prefer seeing multiple days at once, right on the status bar. We don't do that on Chrome because their extension system does not support it. We will always keep these features on Firefox. Its not the type of popup that websites show ads on... have you tried the Chrome one?

Thanks for the feedback!

ForecastFox should continue to be customizable, although perhaps not
to the same extent.

I live in Canada and in our winters knowing the windchill ("feels
like") temperature is more important than knowing the absolute
temperature.

Also wind, gusts and precipitation are critical to know for highway
driving in winter.

If you want to pre-customize it, or if you really want to do away with
customization, please show what most people need: real & feels like
temperatures, wind-speed & gusts, and precipitation, at a glance, for
current, today, plus 2 days into the future.

And for details, use a tooltip balloon.

I had already discovered and installed the extension in Chrome, and
I'd love the option to display it in the same manner within Firefox.
I'm not sure if you can provide it as an option to those of us who
like it the Chrome way while continuing to provide the current layout
(as Marc above prefers).

While I like to see some info within Firefox without having to click
anything, I also like how it all expands from a single button from
within Chrome. Plus, the Chrome style provides some of the info I'd
have needed to go to the accuweather.com website in order to learn.

I think we're going to take an approach similar to what you say. Forecastfox's customization is one of the features that makes it great, but right now it's pretty difficult to customize, and as a result, only a fraction of our users probably do this. My goal for the new Forecastfox version is to let you customize it like you can now, but in a much simpler way.

For example, there's no need for users to manually edit the tooltip labels if they'd like to add sunset or sunrise. In the new version, you can just specify that you'd like to add sunrise or sunset and we'll format the tooltip for you.

Thanks for the feedback!
