firefox 4.01 on W7 problems with flickering

When I type in the address bar if there is history that matches FF
will show a drop down of matches and I can select it. when I have
Forecast Fox 2.0.12 installed and enabled the dropdown flickers and I
can't select anything because it goes away too fast. If I disable
Forecast Fox it works. Enable it and I see this problem again.
Similar issues with login names that are remembered for instance on
gmail login screen.
