New Claims 359K 360K 347K to 455K 357K

Market Consensus before announcement
Initial jobless claims in the March 24 week fell 5,000 to 359,000 from
a revised 364,000 in the prior week. The four-week average was down
3,500 to 365,000 from the prior week which was revised to 368,500 from
355,000. These levels are recovery lows. The latest numbers include
annual revisions (primarily updated seasonal adjustments). The Labor
Department noted nothing unusual in the data.

Anyone have thoughts on what can possibly get Ford moving upward? We
pretty much got left behind during the recent rally. March sales
numbers did not do much. I guess the next chance to get us out of
this funk is Q1 earnings which should be good. Possibility of another
credit rating increase (last one in Oct 2011) I think is low even
though I think Ford deserves investment grade.

I believe European sales has a great deal to do with it. As Europe
turns a corner I look forward to seeing if Ford follows.
