Looks like another day that will teach us that selling off on Fridays
is NOT a good idea! In other words, it looks like a really FUN day is
ahead of those of us that are LONG in F.

F just traded at $15.86, up $.13 from Friday's close. DJIA futures
are UP 41 pts and the S&P are UP 6.25 pts.

NO significant economic reports are due out today that I can see.

So enjoy!

Might we see $16.00 today?

My "early" predictions on the price of F follow. I will almost
certainly change these before the morning's OPEN.

O: $15.86
H: $16.05
L: $15.78
C: $15.98

Uuuuggghhhh! Just saw John's numbers. Sure hope his view is off this
morning! What are you seeing that I am not, my friend?

My numbers already look stale.  My high has already been topped in the pre-market.

Bought another good sized trading block this morning at $15.74.
Assuming that either nsrb or I are on in our HIGH predictions, we
should make out fairly well.

Getting a little nervous with this collapse. F just traded at $15.62.

Any thoughts about where the bottom might be?

Is this still going to be an UP day?

I think we just saw the low.  Looks like a Monday morning decision to 'grab some stop losses' by our old nemesis 'the mid morning dip'.

Thanks for the observation. It was, of course, on target.

Feeling much better right now. F just traded at $15.76, above both
Friday's close and my buy-in price this morning.

DJIA and S&P are both positive again as well.

Hey John~

Unfortunately (for nsrb & I), your revised numbers came in a shad too
late.

Fortunately (for you), the way it looks to me, they may be a lot more
competitive than your revised numbers.

Sorry I have been tied up this morning.

 

I did not think that the weekend's news or the morning's news supported +40 points in the futures or a gap up for F, so I thought it misdirection.

 

I do think F should be and will be higher.

 

I still cannot see any valid reason for $15.06 on June 6th or for $14.37 on May 23rd, but I fear we will see more of this volatility to come.

 

So I remain positive but extremely cautious.  I may miss much of the run higher but it is my conscious strategy at this point.

Just exited that position I took this morning.

While F seems headed UP, I just don't have a warm and fuzzy feeling
for the rest of the day.

And for what I might make today by holding that extra trading block
for a few more hours, I would rather be doing something other than
sitting here cursing at the screen.

Again, out with only enough profit to buy the bride a nice dinner.

nsrb had the best LOW, but the Old Relic swept the board other than
that, with the best OPEN, HIGH and CLOSE. He also had the best total
variance.
