Ford Motor Company : Ford China May Vehicle Sales up 45% at 70,540
Units

BEIJING--Ford Motor Co. (F) and its joint ventures in China sold
70,540 vehicles in the country in May, up 45% from a year earlier, the
U.S. car maker said Wednesday.

Sales of Ford-brand passenger cars at Changan Ford Automobile Co., a
50-50 joint venture between Ford and Chongqing Changan Automobile Co.
rose 48% to 51,099 units.

Meanwhile, Jiangling Motors Corp. (000550.SZ), in which Ford owns a
30% stake, sold 17,057 units last month, up 21% from 14,056 in May
2012.

To accelerate its growth in China, Ford plans to introduce 15 new
vehicles in the country by 2015. The company has said it plans to
double its production capacity in China to 1.2 million vehicles by
2015, making this the company's most rapid expansion anywhere in 50
years.

Notsorichbob - You commented recently about filling gaps.  Do we still have a gap May 24th to May 28th?

 

I know little about technical analysis but listen to several people who seem to have good results with it.  I have for a long time planned to learn more, but to date that plan remains a wish.

 

Looks like we might slowly climb a little higher???

I think the 'lunch time' guys will start to show up soon and start buying.  Better by the day's end.

John, I'm not a fan of technical analysis.  My comment about gaps was more in mocking than about faith.  I try to remember the times I say to myself ' I wish I had bought at yesterday's price' and if I see the price again, it takes a good 'new' reason for me to not hit the buy button.  I'm looking at the buy button now.
