Edgar Meyer on Thursday and More

Edgar Meyer is considered by many the world's finest bassist.  He plays in Goat Rodeo with Chris Thile, Yo Yo Mah and Stuart Duncan, and often performs with Joshua Bell and other stellar musicians.  He's composed music for Hilary Hahn and just this year for the Alabama Symphony (and he's a McArthur genius to boot).  After a jaw-dropping performance with the Symphony last weekend, he'll now be performing tomorrow night, Thursday the 23rd as part of the Classical Edge series at  the Alys Stephens Center.  The ASO has just announced that we can get two tickets for the price of one for this concert.  See below for details.  We hope to see you there.  Read on  for news of a Footmad member's yard sale at the bottom of this announcement.
