ChicagoStories.org: "Urban Farming & Food Deserts" -- Food security on the radar for the NATO summit!!

Now we're ready for all the international journalists and visitors coming to Chicago for the NATO summit (and also making this home base for the G8 summit).     

Check out the fabulous website ChicagoStories.org put together by Community Media Workshop and Chicago Council for Global Affairs specifically for the purpose of providing "briefing papers and source lists to journalists visiting Chicago for the NATO Summit who are interested in connecting with local stories."  

Here are the topics posted so far.  I think they may be working on others as well.   The "food security" pages consist of "Urban Farming and Food Deserts" and a related story, "Global Food Security".    http://chicagostories.org/food/

Corrections sent into ChicagoStories.org re:  "Urban Farming and Food Deserts"

The Illinois Local Food, Farms, and Jobs Council has the word "Local" in it.    Many people forget it, for some reason.  (It is a mouthful.)   

Two places on the Urban Farming webpage where it needs correcting, in the "Sources" section (Cassandra has it right in the text.):
