Folksemantic is a project to create tools that increase the impact of open education resources by helping people find, filter, collaborate around, and remix them.

Folksemantic integrates the OCW Finder, OER Recommender, and Luvfoo open source projects. It also improves their usability, and adds collaboration, personalized recommendation, widgets, and publishing features.

OCW Finder is a website that people can use to find free online course materials by browsing and searching. OER Recommender is a service that websites can use to easily add “related resources” links to web pages. Luvfoo is a social network platform that supports group There are currently over 3,500 courses indexed by OCW Finder and 110,000 open educational resources indexed by OER Recommender.
