Attempting to get work packet
connecting to assignment server
Successful: assigned to <0.0.0.0>.
News From Floding@Home: Welcome to Folding@home
Work Unit has an invalid address.
Error: Attempt # X to get work failed, and not other work to do.
Waiting for retry.

Over and over... Since I can't search the old forums about the 0.0.0.0
assignment.. can anyone tell me what's wrong or is it just a server at
Stanford down?

Thanks,
Rick

I am having exactly the same problem. Have an SMP WU that cannot be
sent and cannot get any new work. It would appear there is some
problem, though I can ping the IP.

Ok then I am not going to worry about it too much. Unless it is still
doing this in the morning.
I looked at the server status page but don't understand enough about
it to really know what I am seeing.
I do see several servers down... so thats probably it. It will
probably start back up by morning.

Thanks,
Rick

The work server for the SMP projects (171.64.65.64) is in the Reject
mode and doesn't seem to be accepting connections. I'm not certain why
the collection server (171.64.122.76) isn't accepting uploads.

Cruching two non-SMP WUs in the meantime :) I hope one of the FCF
moderators or a Stanford researcher gets notified about this. With a 3
day deadline, wouldn't want WUs going waste, would we?

The assigned to <0.0.0.0> usuly means that the servers are down.
