...but has all development now stopped? I've still not found anything
that uses the page metaphor; I think is the real strength of the app.

Erik Westra has taken over development, but it has been a long time since his last update. Perhaps he will chime in?

Hi all.

As you may have surmised, it seems that Erik is not actively working on FocusPad after all. I have been unable to reach him for months, so I do not know his exact status. This is unfortunate, as all development was put on hold while he was rewriting and finishing version 2.0.

I have decided to put together a 1.2.3 bug fix release, specifically for the problem with ticklers not firing at the right time. It is taking a bit longer than I thought due to iOS changes. If I can get it over the hump and come up with an estimated release date I will let you know.

At this point I am still not planning on releasing the version 2.0 product that was in beta, as the synchronization was too unreliable. Now that Erik is out of the picture, I need to reassess what my next move is. I will make a decision soon and let you know.

In the meantime, if anyone has suggestions to make the app more useful with Mark Forster's Final Version, please let me know.

Excellent news! One feature to add would be multi-tasking support.
At the moment, the app re-starts when re-opened rather than simply
showing the previously open screen.

Good news: I have a new version of FocusPad working on my machine! It now multi-tasks smoothly and correctly, and fixes a few bugs related to the new OS. I will do some more testing, and if all goes well, I will upload it next week sometime.
