Voting for 2009 FoCoMA Peer Awards Now Open!

Fort Collins Musicians Association is happy to announce that voting
for our 2nd Annual Musicians Peer Awards is now open! We encourage
all working musicians in and around the Fort Collins and Northern
Colorado area to vote for who they think are the two best acts in a
variety of genres. This year we've also added some special awards
like "Best CD Released in 2008", "Best Live Sound Engineer", and
"Sweetest Ride (Band Vehicle)".

You've got until midnight on Monday, April 13 to vote, and the winners
will be revealed at our awards ceremony at the Aggie Theatre on
Sunday, April 19th at 6 p.m., with an after party to follow. Voting
will get you added to the guest list for the night, so go ahead and
cast your ballot at http://ballot.focoma.org/

If you'd like to see some of the bands live before you decide who you
think should win, join us for FoCoMX the weekend before. This is our
first year doing the Fort Collins Music eXperiment, which is a music
festival featuring over 100 of Northern Colorado's best bands at 12
venues throughout the city over 2 nights - Friday, April 10 and
Saturday, April 11. Laminates are only $10, and you can see the full
