Hi there!
This is an invitation to runners and cyclists of all levels to participate
in OrganicAthlete Victoria's Track & Trail Sprint Duathlon, which will be
held at the Juan de Fuca velodrome in Colwood on Saturday, May 17th. It's a
unique event, sure to challenge racers in ways they're not accustomed to,
featuring:
* one lap bike sprint (333m)
* one lap foot sprint (333m)
* 3km or 4km bike TT
* 5km chip trail run
There will be no transitions between events, each will be done individually,
and times/placings used to determine overall winners, with three age groups
(Jr, Sr & Masters) and two categories (Open and Womens) with medals and
ribbons going to the top five in each field. If enough kids come out, a
Kiddie Kilo will also be run. Thanks to generous donations from the
community, we're looking at over $1000 in prizes to give out! Virtually
everyone is guaranteed a prize!
Cost is $25, it's from 11am-5pm, and registration and more details can be

Please register online so we can create our startlists ahead of time, and
cash or checks will be accepted at the event (no online payment.)
