Hello Matt, e.o.,

For my 1st contribution i've got just an little cleaning for the
standards.fmp12

In the "Developer Save Backup"-script there is a test for local file
status. Using get ( MultiUserState ). Shouldn't get ( HostIP ) be more
appropriate? A file can be shared locally!

Also there is a scriptstep set variable $path

I, too, was interested in Brian's FileMakerSQLSugar, but I share many of the same reservations as Jeremy.

I've erred on the side of verbosity in my SQL statements, and I use clippings to provide quick prototypes for any queries I might write. I'm a little surprised to see that Matt's syntax isn't that far from my own. However there are a few key differences and I offer my syntax here to provide another angle to the discussion.

I think the use of «» as a join indicator for TO's can be debated, however,
and maybe I missed the OP, there should be a standard for join table naming
(in the tables tab, not the graph with TO's). For reference, Cakephp uses
firstTable_secondTable (camelCased, ordered alphabetically). I'm just

Ok, I'll keep going with the Standards file (fmp12). According to:

Coding Standards >> Indenting & White Space >> 3.- Line endings with
semicolons

If statements separated into several lines should have a space before the
semicolon, to indicate that its not "complete".

In the Standards file, the CF: Developer. Does not have the corresponding

Ah, you're right on this. We do international checking on the Developer
function, but not on the version required.

Not sure about this, but here is an issue I ran into with the Standards
Template File, specifically in @Startup layout:
The line: $$FMP.VERSION.REQUIRED = 12.02;
gave me an error because my system settings are in Spanish (Windows 7), I
replaced "12.02" with "12,02" (notice the change of a period for a comma)
