Subject: Sending VariableSetter to a Published Parameter?
I am trying to export a subset from a Oracle database (containing
points) based on a user input polygon. I know I could use the clipper
or overlayer but the database is very large and I would rather not
read in all the points, but use the bounding box coordinates to define
the search envelope in the database parameters.  I thought there would
be a way using the VariableSetter and VRetriever but I seem to be
having no luck there. Any suggestions on how the input poloygon could
be used so the entire database does not need to be read would be very
helpful.
Kyle

Hi kyle

You can have two workspaces where the master ws takes the user input
and passes it to the detail ws using the workspacerunner.

In the detail ws simply publish the input bbox parameters from the
reader ..

Cheers
Jeff
