MX4J 2.0 beta 1
by Simone Bordet (http://freshmeat.net/~simonebordet/)
Wednesday, November 26th 2003 04:14

About:
MX4J is an Open Source implementation of the JMX technology (JSR 3) and of
the JMX Remote API (JSR 160). It aims to create JMX-related tools such as
adaptors, connectors, and utility MBeans. JMX is the Java standard used to
create manageable server-side applications, and it is used as a base
architecture for many popular J2EE application servers, such as JBoss,
BEA, Geronimo, etc.

Changes:
This version implements JMX 1.2.1 and JMX Remote 1.0, and removes the
obsolete MX4J 1.x RMI remote code. There is a ConfigurationLoader to load
MBeans from XML, statistics MBeans, improved Jython support, JSR 160
RMI, IIOP, local, and SOAP providers, JSR 160 tools, and more.
