     With the headline "Blood Bath In Cairo"  blazing on the web page of the Drudge Report one can not help wondering when there may be one in Washington, D.C.  All those billions of hollow point bullets purchased by HLS. And how does this relate to people pursuing a spiritual life.  Clearly if a serious revolt occurs in the USA one's peaceful life will be seriously disrupted.  And there is very little one can do about it. 
       However, even if the extreme does not happen just noting the fact that now it is reported that 4 out of 5 adults are either living in poverty or on the edge of it.  That is qute radical for a nation that long has self-praised itself as the "greatest nation in the world".  Depite these dire facts there is no cutting the military budget.  And whoever the enemy is it is definitely top secret--unless it is us which I believe we were recently told by the President.  Domestic terrorists.  That's an awfuly big budget for domestic purposes.  Then the snooping costs are close to 100 billion.  So with all those safety needs we can hardly expect the infra structure to be repaired or rebuilt.  Soon driving across America will be dangerous simply due to bad bridges and eroding highways.  In the meantime cities are reducing the budgets for schools and other social needs. 
        All this can not just be swept under the carpet by the spiritually attuned.  If things get worse and worse people will start coming to the doors of those who meditate for help of one sort or another.  After decades of propaganda news people are really in the dark; those that are not are slandered or libelled as conspiracists.  Here is a superb article by Dr. Anthony Hall: The Lies and Crimes of TWA Flight 800 --http://www.veteranstoday.com/2013/07/27/twa-flight-800-and-911/ 
 Being well informed allows for finer choices.  That may be the best course of action at this time.
