Would be nice if one could use venti[1] for storage, this has many
advantages like removing duplicated blocks.

Venti already has a 'frontend' called vbackup[2] to archive unix file
systems as part of Plan 9 from User Space[3] so flyback could work as a
frontend for vbackup.
