I've encountered a strange thing when opening 2 pages together. The
styles from one page seems to get appended to the second page. It
seems that Flux is doing this change automatically as it will ask to
save even though there are no changes made to it after opening the
file.
There are styles with the same name in the separate files so that
could be what triggers the strange behaviour. Is there a place for me
to report this as a bug? Or send the developers some info to
reproduce the behaviour?
Offhand it sounds like you have the same external stylesheet linked to both pages. That is the idea behind stylesheets to have pages not only retain similar appearance qualities but also to have multiple pages appearance edited change simple by editing the code in a single css file.
Actually, this is the case. I do have a common external stylesheet
which is not a problem. However, due to my bad design, I also have
internal styles in the head for each of the pages. A few of these
styles have the same names. So when the 2 pages with internal styles
of which some have same names (but are different styles), the second
page suddenly gets 2 lots of internal styles.
Like I said, the problem started with my lousy design but that could
always happen to newbies. I'd like to show some screen captures.
What's the best way to do this?

I believe this group will allow images to a certain size attachments. However it sounds like a bug in flux. You may want to put in a ticket over at the escapers as I've not seen them respond on this group in some time. I don't use flux everyday, but I am starting to see some instability returning to the app showing itself in the form of crashes. However I'm running it on Leopard and Snow Leopard and of course the dev is trying for maximum performance on Lion at this point. So which OSX are you running?

Using mac mail in 10.6.8 I dragged this off my desktop into this email and sent it to the list. If that works you can also see where you need to go for feedback/support.

It seems that you can add images here using post editor, however; I have added a page on my Flux-Wiki called The Visual Discussion Page<http://flux-app.wikispaces.com/The+Visual+Discussion+Page> . Everyone is welcomed to post there. You could post there or make a whole page, then insert your screen-captures, and then post a link here if desired.
The wiki requires membership to create posts, pages or to edit - but this is only to block spam and malicious links. The idea behind the wiki is to gather users experience and information in one place.

I was going to add my scenario to the wiki after having my membership
approved but when I started Flux, there was an upgrade and now I can't

Flux is very useful in some ways, particularly for formatting complex graphical page designs, but the html is produces is abysmal, with no line feeds and oddball phrases like "FLUXPROCESSINGINSTRUCTIONphp" from attempts to include additional code (I haven't really figured out how to effectively inject code like php without editing the pages outside of Flux. I'd love to be able to simply type it into the source code without Flux jumping on it and adding all kinds of proprietary language.).
I find myself having to spend so much time sorting out the html code if I want to do any work on the code directly, that it ends up feeling easier, simply, to write the code from scratch.
I would love is to be able to use the WYSIWYG feature to get the layout straight, with positioning and such in a css file and then work the code directly for stuff it is hard to do in flux, i.e.the separate form from content approach to web design.
The WYSIWYG part works so much better than anything I have seen out there, including Dreamweaver that I hate to give it up.
Is there any way to get flux to work in a way that is more amenable to this approach, outputting formatted html and being friendly to coding changes made outside of Flux?
