We had another good meeting.
We were able to mount an XBee unit directly on a firefighting
flutterbot and transmit real time compass measurements. Next week we
will start sending real time data back from any sensors that we want
to on the firefighting flutterbot.
Dr. G got a lesson on using subversion and how to checkout code from
open-flutterbot. We also talked about how to organize the flutterbot
code. It looks like we are going to have three types.
Utils- Low level utilities that most users will never need to read.
Examples - There are small pieces of code that are can serve as
building blocks for user programs
Projects - Current project are Base Flutterbot, Student workbook, and
Firefight.
We also old friends that are just getting back into their flutterbot.
All skill and experience levels are welcome Monday evenings.
Thanks,
George A.
