what's the best way to submit patches

what's the best way to submit patches? should I post them here, as I
did yesterday, or post them to the "issues" list in the project?

Either's good really. If you're looking to be really helpful, creating an issue would save me a job.

My vote is for attachment to an issue.

Create one if it doesn't exist and then attach a patch.

Ok. I'll create the issue tickets and attach there. I've got 3 or 4
updates to send in already, and a lot more on the way. :)
