Hello

I've just noticed that the version of nunit we're using in the project appears to kill resharper, any objections to me downgrading this to an earlier version, or does anyone know of a good hack to make it work.

Cheers

Andy

No problems here, what version of Resharper are you using?

Version 4, very strange. Just makes my life a bit simpler if I can run the tests straight from the ide.

Cheers

I know what you mean. I'm using 4 with no trouble, are you able to run unit tests in any other projects?

I don't have any real trouble with downgrading, but I'd prefer to be on the latest version if possible. As it works for me, I'd be inclined to say it's something up with your setup.

I can run them everywhere else in all my other solutions, it's rather odd. Also if I change the reference in the tests project to point to the same version I use in my other projects it all works again. I wonder if it's a confliction between the version in the gac and the version in the assembly?

Hmm

Maybe just a coincidence changing the references, as my other projects have just stopped running tests aswell.

So ignore me I'll leave it as it is untill I know otherwise.

First lesson I learned with NUnit, never install NUnit using the MSI. I've always had strangeness like this w/ the MSI install and the DLL in the GAC.

+1
I also had troubles when I (in the past) installed NUnit via MSI. Now
my GAC is clean from any NUnit related DLL's
