[linux-gujarat] Wikipedia Outreach activities in Gujarat

Hello everyone,

I am Arnav Sonara from Jamnagar Gujarat, now in Pune. An open source enthusiast and a Wikipedia Campus Ambassador for Wikipedia India Education Program . Well for those of you who are not aware about this program please have a look at these Times of India, The Punekar and for more details please get in touch with me anytime. 

Now, I have been with Wikimedia Community since January 2010, its a very active community here in Pune, B'lore, Mumbai and elsewhere. I have been part of various outreach activities also concerning Wikipedia.

I personally feel that something should be done in Gujarat too, for students and all interested people in Gujarat. I am having my exams till 2nd December 2011, then vacations. So am planning to carry out Workshop/Seminar/Lecture or whatever possible to encourage them to start contributing to Wikipedia.

So this is an open call to everyone out there, any students of any of the Engineering Colleges of Gujarat in this group ? Am planning to get a track of Wikipedia if possible in Foot Prints a tech fest of MSU Baroda, and Mind Bend of SVNIT Surat. So any one from these colleges or cities please get in touch with me as soon as possible, so we can plan something out.

Students from other places also can get in touch with me.
