I haven't seen much development on this since last year. I also
haven't seen the author be active on here either.

Is this a dead project? Can I assume I have to build features for this
on my own rather?

Think this can be considered dead. There has been no further
communication from the author. Too bad, cause Its a very good project,
and just missing some core functionality like inline edit. Maybe
someone in the community can take over active development? I'd love to
help in whatever little way I can, even if that means I've to learn
jQuery from scratch.

Any thoughts ?

any taker hink can work together and enhance the current one. I am a
custom version of flexigrid code, that if needed, share among others.
Mostly on speed enhancement and avoid memory leak. Demo is at
http://www.myklci.com/. Let me know if i can help in this

I posted here and it's not showing up, yet. Perhaps it's just a
moderation delay. But I noticed one other odd thing. I could not
find the original thread. It was gone. Then I noticed it shows if I
use Topic List as the display, but doesn't show if I use Topic
Summary. I've also gotten a number of "discussions are unavailable"
errors today. Google doesn't seem too reliable today.

Oh, that's too bad. I was using something else for horizontally
scrolling grids, but this looks to be better and it makes use of
JQuery, of course, which is what I want to use as much as possible.
Maybe I'll still use it. Does anyone know if you can lock columns.
I'd need the first column locked and then the rest can scroll
horizontally.

I am interested in an updated Flexigrid. More speed is better. UI-
query compatibility is the top of my wish list. There are 6 people on
the project. Did all of them quit at once?

UI Theming support?

That's what the Stylesheet is there for. Change anything you like in
terms of appearance!
