How to work with Animated Gif images in Flex 3

[Flexian_me]

I want to use Animated Gif image in My application but Flex 3 does'nt
supports Animated gif images i think dats y its not animating ..it
appears as a still image only..
What to do to work it perfectly ??

I came across some paid AnimatedGifLoader Flex component ...Is there
any other way instead of buying such programs?

Hi,

I don't think there is any free/open-source alternative to this. However as a workaround, you may import this gif in Flash. This will split the animation in different frames. Publish this Flash file and then you may load this published swf in your Flex app.

no it doesn't work at all man ...
instead i am learning flash so that i can make my own gif kind
animated graphics ...
I hope Adobe should implement this feature to use gif in flex but I
know Adobe won't do it as their argument would be that these works can
be done easily in Flash with less file size ....

so we can't do anything for this man ...
