restore not working in v. 7.2.4
|
| |
Hi all,
I sometimes work on my database from more than one computer, & because
our IT tech can't get the networking setup to function, I back up
changes made on one PC to our server, then restore on the other PC.
However, recently the restore feature stopped working--it *acts* like
it is restoring, but at the end of the process my recent changes are... more »

Hi Jon,
Thanks for your reply! I got some similar suggestions from Beth, and I
tried inserting a line break between glosses in the Configure Reversal
Index window...it looks great in FLEx, but completely failed to function in
the output! (Senses just ran together.)
However, I did discover a little checkbox in the Pathway Configuration Tool... more »

Semantic Domains --> Web (help in a hurry?)
|
| |
I'm teaching a daily FLEx component in a language workshop that started today (Oklahoma Breath of Life, Silent No More Workshop), and one of the language groups decided that their week-long project would be to create a small lexicon that (1) has *audio* with all the entries and (2) is organized by *semantic domains* (they want to create *their own* in... more »

glossary of plant & animal terms. Can anyone help me with the
following questions? :
1. After installing Pathway and updating Open Office (it was taking
forever to format), the next time I tried to export a dictionary FLEx... more »

C c ɕ ç
D d ɖ ð ɗ
E e ɛ ə ɜ œ ɶ ɘ ɞ
F f ɸ

writing system change in Baseline
|
| |
I have a database, inherited from another linguist, with three vernacular writing systems. Two of those writing systems are identical (not certain why they were both created)--I'll call them A and B--so I'm trying to eliminate one (B). This is easy in the lexicon. But in texts ... most of the texts are entered in writing system A, but one... more »

Regular expressions
|
| |
Hi,
I’m trying to filter for words that do not contain ‘s’ or ‘z’. Is there a way of doing this with regular expressions? If possible I’d like to filter for words that don’t contain any of a set of letters.
