I know this is a late response but I just discovered Flatiron and I found
it's modularity, RVP pattern, and use of Schema JSON with resources to be
refreshing in the JS MVC ecosystem of solutions. I found myself
implementing something similar within Django called hyperadmin and was
excited to see a fresh take at some of the same challenges. IMHO flatiron

 Hey everyone,
I'm loving resourceful and needed to quickly whip up a working API that
returns data, so I created a simple way to generate fake data from
Resourceful models. It could probably be useful for testing or rapidly
creating APIs:
[link]
It needs support for JSON mocks and additional types as well as validation

Is there any sufficiently complex project done using FlatIron, available
publically on github?
For e.g. I am interested in somewhat equivalent complexity of calipso,
which is CMS in node.js.
Vinod

 Internet Friends -

I'm sure it will come as a pleasant surprise for most of you to hear I'm
leaving node.js for good. I'll also be stepping down from any involvement
with Flatiron and completely shutting down hook.io

In all honesty, I don't think there is much of a loss here for anyone.

The Flatiron framework is pretty much pointless and I'd advise against

The format looks
invalid.

app.router is a Director.router instance. You can't override it like that.
Maybe you can try setting app.router.routes, but I don't think that would
work either.

There should be an API method for adding routes as JSON. Should be in the
README as "mount"

mount(routes, path)

- routes {object}: Partial routing table to insert into this instance.

Is the best way to handle querystrings to use just use the simple route
definition:
app.router.get('/force',functi on() {
and then work with this.req.query?
the only complication I see there is detecting whether or not
this.req.query is an empty object. I'm getting good google results for
checking for empty objects though, so I think I should be able to hop over

 Hi Pavan,
Thanks for the quick reply! I guess that the answer is that I should be
using the regex functionality that comes with director. I wonder if
handling querystrings are a common enough use case for URL routing that an
example might be warranted in the docs? It seems like a good use case for
