Just a heads up for people so they can decide whether the meeting will be of interest. This week's meeting is an HTML 5 101 one and the main thing we'll cover will be the video tag. I'll briefly show the tools I use for making different video and audio formats, and show a web site that helps you to set up the HTML for showing alternate formats. Adam will go into more depth about what you can do with code and the video tag.
I think we'll have plenty of time to get through those things, and so before I show the video tools I'll quickly show a few of the tools you can use for creating animation for HTML 5. That's what I would cover first, so if you're more interested in the video tag you 'll be ok if you get there slightly late.
I have been keeping tabs from a distance - Japan and Colorado, specifically. In Japan again for a while, and wondering if any of the HTML5 101s have been recorded, and if so, who would be best to try and bribe to get a copy! Sounds great, makes me miss NY more than the pizza.
