Looks slick, if anyone tests it out I'd love to see the code it generates.

Anyone attending this? Was wondering if  $2,800 is worth it.

I can't say that I'm attending, but I've found the Sencha Touch learning curve to be as tough as I'd read. I've learned to search their 2.0 forum exclusively--Google yields a lot of deprecated 1.0 examples...

I actually have the same feeling.

I've spent a lot of time working with Sencha Touch 2 and I have to say that
if I had to learn it over again I wouldn't. The learning curve is high, the
documentation is spotty, and in the end I've needed to use PhoneGap anyway,
so I've forfeited whatever I might have gained as far as the performance
bump achieved by creating a native app.
