Is this possible?
1. 1st marker brings up an animated 3D object but does not "play" the
animation. Effectively it is in pause mode.
2. 2nd marker on screen shows up another 3D object AND also triggers
the 1st 3D object's animation to start playing.

Or call: anim1.play("all", false);
'anim1' being your 3D animation variable
