Create AR apps without programming at all !

we have had not a few discussions here where non-developers or
beginners asked us how to create simple AR apps, such as interactive
books, connect a 3d model to a marker etc.
we all know FlarToolkit solves these issues. Most of you probably also
aware of the free open source i released that makes it even easier to
add any type of media to markers. And there's also FlarManager.
but i've just came across a new solution, more simple than all others.
it doesnt require any programming skills at all, as it allows only to
connect a marker and a 3d model. but in most cases, that's all that
you need...
HIT LAB NZ have released an application called BuildAR (http://
www.buildar.co.nz/). its free to use and very easy (http://
www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=7kDMOC-HLUM#!).
so please, all of you out there, who wish to create simple AR
applications, which only require a marker and a model, you have what
you need. dont bother to start learn Flash programming or FlarToolkit
features. You have it all in a drag n drop fantastic UI.

p.s. i have no relation what so ever to HIT LAB NZ or to the creation
of BuildAR. i truly believe in its purpose.

not going to work, imho, question just do not stop there. the moment
after it successfully shows their model, they will think of smth else
they now want to do - and we're back where we started.

i agree.
but that's will happen after they already have something that works...
and that's already a big progress.
then, they will come to us with a starting point, where they already
understand the basic concepts of AR.

How were you able to make it work? I tried this and it keeps showing
me black screen with my camera, can see through VR mode (I think
that's what that called) but when I try with the viewer it's all black
or just showing a line of video D: Tried both built in cam and usb
cam :(

i take it as a task for myself to write a tutorial how to make it
work.
i have just formatted and reinstalled all the programs on my computer
in order to improve its performance and free some space.
i'll do it as soon as i can.
