The vote was to punish Iran for building nukes, by imposing sanctions
against Iranian businesses.
Unfortunately, the Republicans stood up for the Iranians, refusing to impose
sanctions.
The problem, they say, is that Republicans profit greatly from doing
business with our enemies in Iran.
So to impose sanctions against our enemies would mean imposing sanctions
against the Republicans.
