I've never posted much in this group. We went up to Islands of Adventure
(Saturday) and the Fun Spot (Sunday) a few weeks with the family and my
oldest daughter's friend. I've been swimming at the gym. My endurance
for swimming is WAY UP! but after a couple attractions and standing in
line I could barely move! Will have to add the treadmill to workouts I
see.
The kids enjoyed everything. My cousin and his wife joined us but they
couldn't bring their kids or grandkids. I especially liked one ride near
the pterodactyls that splashed bystanders. I was a bystander and enjoyed
being soaked in 97 degree (100 real feel) temperatures.
After seeing this year's new 3D movies "Spyderman" was a real
disappointment. It should have an upgrade or be replaced in order to
compete. The only thing more real than the 3D movies was some water
sprinkles from the "Evil Water Guy" ;^) (my 5YO's description!)
