[Chuui: You may answer in JIS.]

Can some female Mizuiro fan tell me why Hiroshi-kun's
supposed to be so attractive? 8(

Does anyone remember what are Hachiouji, Hashimoto,
Miyauchi, Shibazaki, and Yamada's personal names?

How many more episodes are there after Ep 36 "Sotsugyou"?
(The Mizuiro manga ended when the characters graduated from
middle school. ;_;)

Is seeing a guy standing by the windows in a classroom at
sunset really such a romantic event in shoujo anime/manga? (The
Leda OVA had one such scene too.)

When in the Mizuiro timeline do the stories in the new Shin
Mizuiro Jidai manga series happen?
(I guess if the stories involve Kitano-san, and aren't about
You-chan's high school years, it's probably You-chan's third year
in middle school?)

As the Mizuiro manga ended after Yuuko's graduation, what are the new episodes
about? High school (koukou)? Original stories? Or based on the Shin Mizuiro
manga?

"Omoide Arubamu" is about a junior high school (chuugaku).
This series show some specific character's memories in his/her junior
high school days.

As I don't subscribe monthly magagine Chao, I don't know whether these
stories are based on the Shin Mizuiro Manga. But at least I couldn't
find
a similar story in FLOWER COMICS Mizuirojidai 1-7 or Shin Mizuirojidai
1.

All `Omoide Album Series' stories are original, not based on comic stories.
I hear that eight stories are involved in `Omoide Album Series' and all of
them are original stories.

Maybe no. The eight another stories are also written by Mr. Arakawa, Mr.
Takegami, and Ms. Yoshida, who are the main writers of the above 39 stories.

The memorial album series are another side stories of Mizuiro-Jidai (or the
Blue-Green Age), which are focused on the side characters -- for instance,
Maririn(SENGAWA, Mari), Hashimo(HASIMOTO, Norihito), Miyau(MIYAUCHI Fuyuki),
Kitano(KITANO, Miyuki), Atsuko(KAWAI, Atsuko; Yuko's mother).

In Japan, three stories have already broadcasted.

No. Date Title Main Character Writer
40 Jan 9,1997 Ren'ai-Miman (Less than love) Maririn Ms.Yoshida
41 Jan 16,1997 Growing UP Hashimo Mr.Takegami
42 Jan 23,1997 Miyau no Koi (Miyau's love) Miyau Mr.Arakawa

I think they are more interesting than the main 39 stories. ;-)
Another character's point of view is very fun.

Does Mizuiro has an *official* English title? "Aqua Age" or "Blue-Green Age"?

The title "Aqua Age" is written in the Japanese comic books.
This may be an official title.

But the problem is the color sense between the Japanese and the English-
speaking people.

In Japan, blue(ao-iro) means young, inexperienced, or undeveloped,
especially in highteen age and 20's people.

For instance,
Japanese English
Kare ha Aoi. (He is blue.) ----> He is green.
Sei-shun Jidai(blue spring age) ----> green age
Ao-ringo (blue apple) ----> green apple

'Mizu' means water and 'iro' means color. 'mizu-iro' means white-blue.
The meaning of the title 'Mizuiro-Jidai' is the middle age between
the child age and the green age.

Then I prefer 'blue-green age' to 'aqua age'.
I found the term 'blue-green age' several times in the English-speaking
people's WWW page. (But I never found such a word in Japanaese WWW page.
Almost all Japanese people uses the term 'aqua age'.)

Is 'Mizuiro-Jidai' translated official in the English-speaking country?
If so, I want to know what the title is.

I have some Taiwan version comic books of 'Mizuiro-Jidai'.
The Taiwan version title is the same of the Japanese version.
The same Chinese characters are used.
(But I don't know how to pronounce ;-)

In that case, until further notice, I'll continue to consider "Aqua Age" as
its official English title.

I'm aware of the Japanese significance of shiroi, mizuiro, and aoi. Thanks
anyway.

Don't know, but I think I know who's fan-subbing Mizuiro.

"Shui Sik Si Doi" in Cantonese-Chinese. Not sure about Mandarin-Chinese.

Which reminds me... The Taka-chan's bath episode (so the episode had
a more appropriate title; it'll always be Taka-chan's bath episode to
me) had me laughing even through the serious part.

"Shui Se Shi Dai" if you like it in Traditional Mandarin ala Taiwan.
They don't do commie pinyin over there.

Or

"Tsui Siak Si Dai" or "Sui sek zhi dai" in maybe in Fukienese, a
popular dialect for Taiwanese.
