Live music, camping, buto, great food stalls, and fine loving,
friendly, happy atmosphere.
Had a total blast last night dancing
near the stage with a big bonfire
behind me and almost full moon overhead. You'll think you
are in middle of hokkaido or something.
Won't believe you are in Tokyo.
Fantastic alternative, underground fest.
Directions:
Take Chuo line 30 minutes from
Shinjuku to Musashi-Koganei.
Go out south exit. Turn left
and walk 30 meters to main
street, turn right. Walk
15 minutes til you hit Nogawa River,
turn left, walk 15 minutes beside river and you
will see the fest on right side.
November 3, 4, 5. Can camp, and music
and other festivities from 11am
to 9pm. I'm heading out
now for my second day.
I live at next station. Kokubunji,
and my homeboys, the Kokubunji Experience
are playing from 3 to 4 pm.
Later,
Mr. Huggsie.
If anyone knows about any other secret
altnernative festivals like this
let me know,

If it's "secret" and "word of mouth only," should you be posting it here?
