Dear Parents and Families,
Fishkill Plains’ Fall 2009 Scholastic Book Fair will be coming soon
and we’re looking forward to
seeing you there. Your child will be visiting our Book Fair with his
or her class and students will
have the opportunity to purchase books at that time. Family and
friends are welcome to stop by as
well! This Fall’s Fair will be held in the Gym.
The dates are:
Monday, Nov. 9th from 9am-4:30pm
Tuesday, Nov. 10th from 9am-4:30pm/6pm-8pm
Thursday, Nov. 12th from 9am-4:30pm
Please browse through the attached book list. This is only a small
sampling of all the great books
available at our Fair. Feel free to send in an order from the book
list with your child but please
include instructions if the book you’ve chosen is not available!
Please note: This is a full price
fair. The younger children can purchase a paperback book with $5-$6,
while the older
children will need $8-$9. We must charge 8.125% NY Sales Tax!
We also invite you to help build our classroom libraries by purchasing
books and donating them to
your child’s class through the Classroom Wish List program. Stop by
the display to see which
books your child’s teacher would love to have for the classroom!
