Dear Families,
Our 2009 Fall Scholastic Book Fair is coming soon. We hope you can
visit
the Fair on:
Monday, Nov. 9th from 9am-4:30pm
Tuesday, Nov. 10h from 9am-4:30pm / 6pm-8pm
Thursday, Nov. 12th from 9am-4:30pm
Once again, we have a great opportunity to bring more books to our
students. We call it One for Books! Donate just $1 and fill out the
Book Slip to
the left with your child’s name and room number. Return your donation
and Book
Slip with your child to school. We will collect the slips and display
them at the Book
Fair.
All of the money you give goes directly to purchase books for our
school.
We will use it to purchase books for the library.
Scholastic Book Fairs will match the One for Books dollars you raise
with
a donation of up to a million books to three non-profit programs
devoted to
improving reading skills among children: Kids in Distressed
Situations,
National Center for Family Literacy, and Toys for Tots.
Please send your dollar and paper Book Slip back to school with your
child
no later than Tuesday, November 10th! All Book Slips returned will be
entered into a drawing at the Book Fair to win FREE BOOKS!!
Remember…. Every $1 donated purchases books for our library and
for charity! Plus, your child will be entered in a drawing to win
free
books!
