The AHA's membership set a new record high of 30,000 members last month.
The National Homebrew Conference sold out in a record setting five days, and The National Homebrew Competition sold out in only two days.

The February meeting of the First State Brewers <[link]> was held at the home of Roy & Theresa Simonson.
During the meeting we were introduced to Steve Powell, owner of the new nanobrewery, Argilla Brewing Co. at Pietro’s Pizza <[link]>, which is opening this month on Kirkwood Hwy.

The last 2 meetings of the First State Brewers were not held on the 3rd Friday at someone’s home, as they usually are.
In June we met on a Wednesday night at Two Stones Pub in Newark. That meeting was highly attended with over 30 people.
The July meeting was held on a Monday at the Iron Hill Brewing
