REMINDER - El Salvador Info Meeting TONIGHT 7:30 and Sunday 5/20 5:30pm!
For families and chaperones interested in learning more about the April 2013 Youth Group trip to El Salvador, there will be an information meeting TONIGHT at 7:30pm at First Parish and also Sunday 5/20 at 5:30pm. Speak to teens who have taken the trip, find out about activities, safety, dates, medical forms, cost, chaperons, and any other questions. Avi Salloway and Jim Reynolds will be available to answer any questions. DEPOSITS ARE DUE JUNE 3rd!
Two Youth Travel Opportunities Next Year:
Our UU Roots:
We are planning a Parent/Teen Pilgrimage to our partner church in Transylvania in July of 2013. This trip is for Middle School and High School youth WITH their parent. This will be a unique opportunity for Intergenerational Family Travel to our Unitarian roots.
Our UU Wings:
We are planning a Youth Service Trip to El Salvador in April of 2013. This trip is for High School Youth and Chaperones.
Tonight, there is a meeting about the El Salvador Trip at First Parish. Information about this trip will also be included in Sunday's meeting about both trips opportunities. If you are interested in applying to be a chaperone for El Salvador, please follow to the link and complete the Chaperone Application Form. This form can be submitted on May 20th or mailed to me at First Parish.
Interested in learning more? Please come to an informational meeting on Sunday, May 20th at 5:30 pm (just before youth group). We will have a very brief presentation about both trips and an opportunity for you to ask questions about these two unique opportunities for youth and their families. After this brief introduction, there will be an opportunity to split into two trip groups to learn detailed information about each trip. Adults and teens are encouraged to attend.
Since there is limited space on both trips, it will be important for you to apply soon for these opportunities.
