Upcoming RE Events:

Want to know more about our Coming of Age Program?

This Sunday, at 10:15 - 10:45 in the Chapel, we will have a short presentation on our Coming of Age program here at First Parish.  Please come and find out more about this great bridging experience First Parish offers to our youth.  If you are considering becoming a mentor, this would be an informative meeting for you as well.

Two Youth Travel Opportunities Next Year!

Our UU Roots:
We are planning a Parent/Teen Pilgrimage to our partner church in Transylvania in July of 2013.  This trip is for Middle School and High School youth WITH their parent.  This will be a unique opportunity for Intergenerational Family Travel to our Unitarian roots.

Our UU Wings:
We are planning a Youth Service Trip to El Salvador in April of 2013.  This trip is for High School Youth and Chaperones.

Interested in learning more?  Please come to an informational meeting on Sunday, May 20th at 5:30 pm.

Auction Item:  Intergenerational Monadnock Hike on June 2nd
All Day.
Please join Pam, her husband Mark and a few other kids and adults on a climb of Mt. Monadnock.  We will leave Concord around 9am, climb to the top of the Mountain and eat a bag lunch, then climb down and have a simple cook-out.  We have room for about 6 more people.  Cost? $25 a person. Best for a hardy 5 year-old and up.  No special climbing equipment needed.  Let me know if you want to join us.

YOU ARE INVITED!  INTERGENERATIONAL ART ACTIVITY
June 5th from 4 to 5:30pm
Please join Pam, Jenny and a group of children and adults from First Parish as we travel to Newbury Court to join residents and friends there for an intergenerational art activity.  We will use scissors, paper, glue and have some good old-fashioned fun as we decorate the bags for the Caring Connection.  The Caring Connection uses these bags when they take food to parishioners who are ill or whose families are having a difficult time.  Don't miss it!  This is a chance to do something good for others while having fun getting to know each other better as well.

Youth Community Service

Looking for Community Service hours?  The First Parish Garden is perfect for teens.  Send me an email if you want to learn more about this opportunity for teens.

Remember, YOU will be doing YOUR credo before you know it.
