Onenote is a great personal mang tool outliner. And of course, am
running into communication problems both ways . Onenote has a 'Copy
HyberLink to the Paragraph' to get a onenote link but I noticed in
firefox it does not take me to the onenote page/paragraph (deep link),
only to onenote app (already opened). In IE the same link takes me to
the exact page/paragraph in the onenote app. Is there a way to fix
this in FF ( I assume some kind of config variable).

Here is a typical deep link url out of onenote: ( that deep links in
IE but doesn't in FF)

onenote:///C:\Documents%20and%20Settings\Administrator\My%20Documents\OneNote%20Notebooks\Personal%20Notebook\To%20do.one#Keep%20a%20list%20of%20To-Do%20items&section-id={8EBBD63A-7B19-4E8F-835B-3D944B0F98C2}&page-id={26FACD0C-D236-4D5D-9A17-6F448D07DDB1}&object-id={A3CC135D-B06A-0CD9-1534-5C5862796C81}&53

any suggestions appreciated

If there are folks getting onenote to work with FF/Gmail, I'd be
interested in their solutions to ( and can make a summary solutions
page for all):
- gmail urls in onenote are not deep linking into gmail from onenote
(stop at inbox), but do so from the desktop or the browser address
window. like http://mail.google.com/mail/#search/hello
- fixed most others except for the one at the top of the email.

alternative to onenote - I'm all ears , but I have used a lot of
personal knowledge tools and it is pretty good ( 2nd best IMHO
Tiddlywiki and Zoho notebook (but they have anew higher monthly price).
