After upgrading to Firefox 3.5 and Firebug 1.4.0b4, I noticed that the
"Copy Response Body" option is no longer available from the context
menu for Ajax requests. I used this feature frequently in past Firebug
versions and would like to see it return.

Thanks for the report!
Should be fixed in the final 1.4 release (or in 1.4b6 if there would
be yet intermediate beta).

Maybe I just needed to restart my computer. Yesterday, XMLHttpRequest
responses were not showing up on Firebug's Console panel, which made
me think that they had been moved to the Net panel under XHR. Today,
the responses are correctly showing on the Console panel where the
context menu has the Copy Response Body option. Still, it would be
nice to have the Copy Response Body option on the context menu for
responses on the Net panel.

Please try http://getfirebug.com/releases/firebug/1.4/firebug-1.4.0b8.xpi
The "Copy Reponse Body" option should be available in both, the
Console
and Net panels for every XHR.

I'm now using firebug 1.4.1 and have a very similar question, What
happened to the copy option when right clicking and selecting an
element? - I was so used to that option. Usually - like many ppl who
use this tool - edit the page styles directly on firebug, select the
new styles and copy. But now you removed it...what's the reason behind
this change? it doesn't hurt to have it but removing it after being so
used to it sucks. I know I can do ctrl+c but that's not what we're
used to.

Can you guys please put it back?!

Thanks,

Ivan

This is now fixed in 1.5 (will be in 1.5a21)
It'll be also backported in to 1.4 (will be in 1.4.2)
