Firebug v1.5X.0b8 - Bugs - Firebug wont start, HTML tab blanks out after postback

guys because I couldn't wait for the new features :)
I have two bugs (may be completely local for me)
1. Firebug wont start - Either view Right Click > Inspect Element or
via F12 or via the little bug icon.
It works if I restart firefox but as soon as I minimize or power off
FireBug I cant get it to start again. It started for me since beta 7.
2. HTML tab is blank - This happens after postback every time. If I am
looking at the HTML tab and click a link on the page then as soon as
the page loads the HTML tab goes blank. If I switch to one of the
other tabs then switch back to HTML then everything is ok.
3. Firebug pops up on other tabs - This has been happening for quite a
few releases. Say I have firebug open on a tab where the page is
rather heavy and takes a few seconds to load. I click something so
that the page starts to postback and load then I switch to another tab
for which site FireBug was not activated while the previous page is
still loading.
What happens is as soon as the previous tab finishes loading, firebug
popus up on the tab that it is not activated on. the data displayed in
all firebug tabs is still from the previous tab. Something like it
refreshes to load the page data but doesnt check if that tab is active
and refreshes and popups up anyways.
I hope I am making some sense. I dont want to file this as bugs as I
have never done that. Should I?
My Environment: (fresh install and repeatable for me)
Firefox 3.5.6 (this issue happened for 3.5.5 also)

We don't have report or a test case like that.

Since you have a log of addons, you might check the behavior in a new
firefox profile, starting with just Firebug and adding. If you find a
problem with a specific addon we may be able to fix it.

open either within the page or as a seperate page. I've disabled ALL
other add-ons and it still behaves the same.
I'll have a go at tracing see if that turns up anything.

I created a new profile and installed 1.5X-.0b8 and couldn't reproduce
the problem.
So I switchedback to my normal profile which still has all other
extensions switched off and uninstalled the 1.5X-.0b8 which I had
installed.
Restarted Firefox.
Installed 1.5X-.0b8 from the version I had downloaded from
http://getfirebug.com/releases/firebug/1.5X/
Restarted Firefox and voila, it seems to be working again.
I then began enablign my extensions one by one:
1) FireCookie - ok
2) Live HTTP headers - ok
3) British English Dictionary - ok
4) Adblock Plus - ok (thank god!)
5) BetterPrivacy - ok
6) FireFTP & IE tab - ok
I don't use many extensions so with this lot I am happy.

today. Usually I do a Right Click -> Inspect Element and the panel
pops right up. However, after the b8 update, that was broken. I
opened Firebug manually and went to Options -> Reset all Firebug
Options and it started working again.

firebug stops opening but no luck so far.
I've reset all my firebug options, disabled all other extensions.
Uninstalled firebug beta 8 and reinstalled beta 7 that I didn't have
any problems with before. Now I have the same problems with beta 7.
When is the next beta coming out?
How do I make a new Firefox profile? What kind of information will I
lose by switching to a new profile?

Mozilla has some documentation on how to work with multiple profiles.

Each profile is unique, so you won't lose any information, you just
have to restart and select your old profile and all of the information
in there will be restored.
