Add side panel in firebug-lite

 I want to add side panel for my firebuglite plugin panel ( which is my extension). I go through the firebuglite  code and Im confused. Can you give me any advice for doing it ?  thanks

Sorry, but Firebug Lite is not actively maintained anymore due to a lack of resources.
We're currently searching for somebody wanting to pick up the project. If you're interested, please let us know.

I refer the firebug lite code and added side panel for my extension. Thanks. I will give a try to get familiar with firebug lite code and let you know whether I can take the responsibility of the maintenance of the project

I have developed (actually with my friend) extension for firebug and now I am involving develop same extension for firebug
 lite. So I have worked for about 4 months with firebug and I have some understanding about how things happen in firebug and firebug lite. I love those extensions. So I would like to take the responsibility of maintaining firebug lite ( I have to learn a lot about it , while this maintains process). So how can I involve with the

 project. Can you give me your opinion ? What should be my next steps ?

discuss all details there (happens every Tuesday,
10:00AM PDT).
