Could you try this build:

https://getfirebug.com/tests/builds/firebug/1.10/firebug-1.10.4.66652ca.xpi

Does it help?

If not, what exactly should I do to see the problem?

Subject: [firebug] Firefox 16.0.1 and iframes

My Firefox just updated to version 16.0.1 and now it seems Firebug doesn't work well with iframes. I am trying to debug my canvas page on facebook. Net tab doesn't show the requests that are generated from the iframe, console.info from the code in iframe doesn't output anything, although alert on the same line is working. I suspect this is a Firefox bug though, because i added my function to window.onerror and when I cause an error url parameter is empty and linenumber is 0, but I wanted to check with someone more experienced in Firebug's internals.

I am lost here, what do you mean by "this one will output an iframe
container"?

Yes, could you please provide more detailed baby-steps about hot to
reproduce and see the problem?

Thanks

Hello Jan,

1. Load http://www.directv.com with Firebug enabled
2. Check the Net tab, look for fls.doubleclick.net/activityi;src=2558160;type=resident;cat=home;num=1;?ord=
3. Open the Response tab of this URL in step 2. and see that it is a full iFrame source. Notice all the IMG tags
4. Check the HTML tab and look for any of the IMG tags you see in step 3. Notice that all of them are part of the page.
5. Try to look them up in the Net tab, the calls for those IMG URLs are not there
6. Check your cookies (you need to enable accept 3rd party cookies) and notice that all of them dropped a cookie on you so they were executed

Let me know if this helps.

Gabor

OK, thanks for verifying!

The patch included in 1.11.0a4.5978 has been ported to Firebug 1.10
branch
and will be released with Firebug 1.10.5 next week.

Hi there

Can you please post a link to Firebug version 1.11.0a4.5978, it seems to be missing from this thread and a quick Google of it turned up nothing.

Cheers
Matt
