FB 1.4 on FF3.5: Console no longer starts at bottom

I recently converted from FireBug 1.3.* on FireFox 3.0.* to FireBug
1.4.0b4 on FireFox 3.5. One very annoying difference I've noticed is
that the FB 1.4 console no longer starts scrolled to the bottom. Every
time I load a page that generates lots of console messages, I have to
manually scroll down to the bottom. Please ensure that the console
scroll buffer starts at the bottom so it displays the newest messages
first.

Yeah, I just noticed this. Is there a setting or fix? I couldn't see
one.

This is still happening with the latest 1.4.0b7 release :(. Is there
already a bug for this? If not, is it my responsibility to open one?

There is one report I would say sounds the same:

However it does not have a procedure for reproducing the problem. That
is what we need.
