What version of Firebug do you use?

I'm using 1.1.0b12 and seeing the same problem. I can't get the small
window to popup in the browser. Also, as mentioned in the thread
about 1.2 with FF3b5, when I use the new window for firebug the html
code in the console is all garbled.

Same here. 1.1.0b12 / FF 3.0b5 / Ubuntu 8.04. It's been this way
ever since I upgraded to 3.0b5.

I have to say that with Windows there's no problem.
Same FF, same Firebug, same web developer toolbar.

Please, help us :-)

Firebug does not work on FF3b5. Your choices are
1.1b12 on FF2
1.2a23+ on FF3pre (http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/
nightly/latest-trunk/)
John.

I'm having the same problem, I upgraded Kubuntu to 8.04 and now I have
FF 3. Is there ANY build that works with it?

I just installed kubuntu 8.04 and had the same issues. I installed
firebug from a package in the 'universe' collection which seems to
have worked.
