Subject: CSS Editing on fly broken (FF15.0.1, FB1.10.4)

Hi,

Since the last update I'm finding it difficult to edit the CSS (Style Tab)
on the fly. I normally use this method to test out potential
fixes/enhancements before actually applying them to the style sheets.

However, now when I right-click within a class and select 'Add New
Property...' the edit box appears for the property name (a great deal of
the time I need to place the cursor in here too, before it would already be
selected), once I start typing my property name the box disappears before I
can finish, no itellisense appears also. When I right-click again and
select 'Add New Property...' to try again, the edit box appears with the
partly completed property name. Also, previously when you hit 'Tab' the
focus would move from the property name to the property value, now it moves
to the next class name, skipping the value edit box!!

This all seems to have started happening since the orange borders
appeared... I dont recall this happening before that as I use the firebug
extension extensively... its a great time saver / help...

Cheers,
TartanBono

I can't reproduce that using FF 15.0.1 + FB 1.10.4 on Win7. So I assume
another extension conflicts with Firebug.
Please deactivate all Firefox extensions except Firebug and try it again.
Does it work now? If yes, re-enable the extensions one by one to find out
which one is the culprit.

Do you mean the accessibility enhancements available via the Firebug Menu<https://getfirebug.com/wiki/index.php/Firebug_Menu>
?

Hi Sebastian,

It seams as though its related to the enabling the 'enable accessibility
enhancements' option...

When I switch this option off, everything works as before (not sure how
this came to be enabled, must have checked this in error). When I switch it
back on I get the weird behaviour again...

Ok, thanks for the info. I guess it's a combination of both, the
accessibility enhancements together with a Firebug extension. At least I
can't reproduce the problem by just having the accessibility enhancements
enabled using FF 16.0.1 + FB 1.11a4 on Win7.
