Hi people,

I have problems while instaling firebug extension with the Aptana
Debugger for JavaScript, when I've that extension instaled, the icon on
the right corner at the bottom of the browser window is not shown.

When I disable the Aptana Debuger, the firebug extension works just
fine, does anyone knows how can I solf this problem?

Thank you.

Hi Diogo,

Aptana Debugger has a little battle with Firebug, not over status bar,
but control over Mozilla's JSD service instance. Aptana hides all
Firebug (and Venkman too) UI when Aptana Debugger is launched to
prevent extensions from crashing each other.
A proper solution for this problem will be introduced soon.
See Aptana Debugger forum for details.

To clarify, the newest version of the Aptana Firefox extension only
hides Firebug when actively debugging through Aptana. However, older
versions did hide Firebug, and updating it to the newest version can
solve your problem. To update the debugger extension, please choose the
menu option Tools > Add-ons/Extensions, inside Firefox, and choose
"Update".

The newest version is 0.2.7.12625.

Best,
Ingo
