Hi,

I'm working on an AJAX-Project and recently found out that there's a
problem with Firebug 1.4.0b7 and Firefox 3.5.

There's a good description of the problem on
http://www.nczonline.net/blog/2009/07/09/firefox-35firebug-xmlhttprequest-and-readystatechange-bug/

When I'm disabling Firebug there's no problem anymore. But as I'm
nearly dependant from Firebug it would be great if there could be a
fix for this problem.

Although many thanks for your work, it's the best tool for web-
development.

Regards

Stefan

Sounds like
http://code.google.com/p/fbug/issues/detail?id=1948

Workaround is Firebug > Console > OptionsMiniMenu >
ShowXMLHttpRequests OFF

Firefox team is working on this.

Problem still exists in firebug 1.4 running on FF 3.5

Bug says 'fixed in 1.5a18' I understand firebug is going through some
massive evolution right now. But it's important to have something you
users can use without getting pissed off. I loose @ least 1/2 hour a
day to this bug. I'm leery of switching to and alpha version of
Firebug... by definition, code in alpha state isn't ready for
production environment.... right?

Please help, or tell me how I can help.

Also fixed in 1.4.1. http://getfirebug.com/releases.

If the test case on issue 1948 fails for you, then I suggest you try a
new Firefox profile.

If a different case fails for you, you may have a different problem.
