Hello.

Two features are missing in firebug (imo):

1. A way to undo (and redo) the last code typed (or pasted) - maybe
just two icons next to the "text search bar" (on the right).

2. A way to go back to a previous state of work (or code)
Imagine the code I typed 5 minutes ago was 95% good and in the
meantime I completely messed up my code.
There should be a way for the user to save "states" of his page and
go back to a previous recording.
This way, all the code that has been typed in the meantime would
disappear and the old code restored.

Please, please.. consider to add these features, which (i think) are
really missing in firebug.
Thank you.

I don't know. Firebug is a debugger, not an IDE.

Today I thought of another option around this idea.

3.
Another useful option would be to have little tabs, one for each saved
state.
This way the user would be able to see his/her website at different
states, just a click away..

There would be and option to affect a state to a given new tab.

Check this mockup I made : http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/2500/firebugstates.png
You can see a new bar with different states ("body content removed" or
"State #4" are examples of tabs named by the user..).

I think a bar with tabs would be even easier to browse between states.
